The tiger toilet is one of the ecological sanitation toilets. It is a specially designed pour flush toilet that uses tiger worms to breakdown faecal sludge into compost. This is a new technology in Uganda being studied by ATC in partnership with Water for People and Bear Valley Ventures Ltd, UK at an international level. The tiger toilet is being tested in three villages i.e., Bugujju, Ngando and Kigombya in Mukono district.
